Hi I'm Louis, I'm 12 years old, and I am in 7th grade. I was born in England, but moved to Greece when I was 7, so I feel more Greek than English - I am very excited about the elections tomorrow, ic could mean big changes for Greece. I like running triathlons, and I also like playing football. I enjoy listening to music and I also play the piano, my favourite band are the Kaiser Chiefs and my favourite singer is Frank Turner. I am the 4th of 5 children, and we also have a dog.

My name is Maria and I am a Mexican border at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, Canada. I am in grade 8 and some of my favorite things are traveling, sloths, being with friends, ballet, and food in general. I have an older brother and a really fat bulldog back in Mexico. I love learning about new cultures and I’m really interested in learning more about Greece and it’s culture. Some things that I already know about Greece is that it has an awesome history, people used to believe in several Gods lots of years ago, and that the food is good. Hey I'm Abby

Hey, My name’s Abby Lu. I’m a Gr. 8 boarding student in St. Michaels University School. I have 2 younger sisters and I live in the Philippines and I came to Canada last September to attend St. Michaels. I also like reading and in my spare time I like to read books and to judge movies made from books as you can already I have no life. I play badminton however I’m not really good at it. My favourite subjects would definitely be Social Studies and English but definitely not Math, PE or Art because I am very bad at art. I can’t even draw to save my life.

I have to admit one of the main reason why I was interested in this is because I have always wanted to learn the history of Greece along with it’s mythology. I know a few of greek mythology and I would like to learn more. I am very curious about greek architect and would like to learn more about it.

Hi! My name is Cindy Li. I go to St. Michaels University School, and am in Grade 8  at the middle school. I was born in a small northern city in China. When I was almost 5 years old, I moved from Beijing, the capital of China, to Victoria, BC, in Canada. I like to go to school, unlike lots of kids our age. I think learning is fun. My favourite thing to learn at school is math. Surprise, I know. I will readily admit that the thing got me really interested was a story. I’m sure you've heard some stories about Greek Mythology. I've always been interested in these sorts of stories. Be it Greek myths, Roman myths, Chinese, fables, or Egyptian mythology, I like them all. It was actually a book series that really got me into Greek Mythology in particular. Have you ever heard of the Percy Jackson series? There really good books. Some of my absolute favourites.

I think Greece is a very interesting country. Some of what I think are the most interesting things about it would be the fact that 1) It’s where the Olympics started, 2) It’s the birthplace of democracy, and 3) Back in the time of Ancient Greece, the country was divided into “city-states”.

Anyway, what is it like in Greece? Do you have a favourite part of Greece? Also, do you have a favourite Greek Myth?
