Hi I'm Louis, I'm 12 years old, and I am in 7th grade. I was born in England, but moved to Greece when I was 7, so I feel more Greek than English - I am very excited about the elections tomorrow, ic could mean big changes for Greece. I like running triathlons, and I also like playing football. I enjoy listening to music and I also play the piano, my favourite band are the Kaiser Chiefs and my favourite singer is Frank Turner. I am the 4th of 5 children, and we also have a dog.
I know that in parts of Canada they speak French.
I know that there is lots of skiing in Canada.
I know that Canada is the second largest country in the world.
Is it snowing there now?
Do you hear a lot of news from Greece and Europe?
Are there a lot of sports at your school?

To answer your questions about snow, no it isn't snowing in canada where I live (Victoria B.C.) but in most northern and central areas like alberta, prairies, and saskatchewan it heavily snows, A LOT. Most people go skiing in Canada but we either go to Mount Washington or whistler to ski. We usually ski in the winter time and in the summer all the snow at whistler and Mount Washington melt, so it becomes a park.

Yeah I here snippets about Europe here and there but unfortunately since I'm a boarding student I have very limited information. So how long have you been playing piano I just started a couple months ago so I'm not very good. What is like there in Greece? Is fun there? What do you guys usually do in the weekend

DeleteI have been playing the piano since I was 9, so 3 years, so I am ok at it I suppose. I suppose the school life here in Greece is pretty much the same as any other country - busy but very fun. On the weekends I go to training, revise for school and muck around with my friend - either in the village or in town. I also like cooking on the weekends.
I like music too! How long have you been playing the piano? I've been playing piano for eight years now. Do you like playing piano?
ReplyDeleteSadly, no, we don't get any snow in Victoria. I wish it did though. However, it snows a lot in places like Toronto and Ottawa, and places like Alberta.
I actually don't know much about modern day Greece.
Yes, we have many sports at my school. My favourite sports are badminton and swimming.

Hey! It's really nice getting to know you! Well, it is not snowing in Victoria right now, but there snow in a lot of parts of Canada. It snowed once in December but has been raining since then. I don't get to hear a lot of things from Greece, but I do listen a lot of news from Spain, England, and Switzerland from my family and friends there. There are lots of sports here at St. Michaels. I practice ballet out of school and have been involved in a lot. There's tennis, basketball, volleyball, squash, dance, soccer, rugby, etc.
ReplyDeleteHere there are a lot of sports as well, but all out of school, as the only private schools are up in Athens. I do triathlon, but there are also football, volleyball, track and field, basketball, tennis, gymnastics and dancing.
